Vox Magazine

Vox is a city arts and culture magazine in Columbia, Missouri. The weekly magazine is produced by magazine students who are supervised by faculty. Despite having a staff that changes every sixteen weeks, Vox has won numerous awards from Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, the Society of Professional Journalists and more.

As a department beat editor for "The Scene" beat, I covered topics including food, fashion, entertainment and more. I worked with writers to edit and factcheck these stories, I collaborated with designers to create sidebars and page layouts, and I coordinated with photographers to gather visual elements.
